CHILDS - George "Randy" Randolph Childs, age 54, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. He was preceded in death by his son Norman and his mother, Peggy Paiz.

Randy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Debbie Childs (Boerman); his father and his wife, Nash and Lisa Paiz; his brothers, Rick (Deb) Childs, Will Paiz (Deb Witherspoon), Phil (Julie) Paiz, Ernie (Amanda) Paiz; his sister, Brenda (Scot) Raymor; Debbie's parents, Wayne and Delores Boerman; her brothers, Dan (Kim) Boerman, Doug Boerman (Sue Plakmeyer); her sisters, Donna (Tim) Bruxvoort, Kim (Corey) Luce, Cathy (Jason) Brown; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Randy loved hunting, fishing and being with family and friends in the great outdoors.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building) in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St., S.W.. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday at Cook Memorial Chapel, with visitation prior to the service beginning at 1:30 p.m.. Pastor Steve Elzinga will be officiating.
