VAN BUREN
Kevin Jay Van Buren, age 44, having fought a courageous battle with brain tumors most of his life, is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior. Kevin was a lifetime member of Berean Baptist Church. He was employed with Metro Health as a laboratory technical assistant for over 18 years.

He will be deeply missed by his parents Emerson and Rose Ellyn Van Buren; brothers Duane and Robin Van Buren, Scott and Angela Van Buren and Mike and Aimee Van Buren; his nine nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday 11 a.m. at his church, Berean Baptist Church, 1574 Coit NE, Grand Rapids with Pastors Burland Margesson and Marcus Little officiating. Interment will be at Sunfish Lake Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet his family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Metcalf Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids and on Friday one hour prior to service at the church.
