COLE John M. Cole passed away April 3, 2009 at the age of 94, surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Cole 1986 and son Donald Cole 1969.
He is survived by his children, LaVonne Kevin VanDine, and Norene Dan Dykhuis; brother, Neil Ruth Cole; sisters, Alice Strick, Evelyn Davis; grandchildren, Cheryl Chris Restau, Douglas Penni Jaynes, Lauralee Laug, Caleen Jaynes, Alyssa Dykuis, and Ashlynn Dykhuis; great grandchildren, Courtney Restau, Zachary Restau, Tyler Restau, Kendra Jaynes, Devon Jaynes, and Shelby Jaynes; and many nieces and nephews.
He has been a faithful Witness of Jehovah for 52 years.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 1 P.M. at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie SW, with John Colburn Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet John's family Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Cook Funeral Home west building.
