Sanford "Sandy" Keith DeHaan, age 75 went to be with his Lord, Sunday, June 30, 2013. He was preceded in death by first wife Mary (Faasse) DeHaan; brother Johnny Allen DeHaan; his parents Doris and John DeHaan.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marjorie (Mensch) DeHaan; children Jeffrey (Debra) DeHaan, Michael (Maribeth) DeHaan, Kathy (Bruce) Hofstra; step-children Amy Mol, Nancy Mensch; grandchildren Alyse DeHaan, David DeHaan, Zachary (Ashley) Hofstra, Katrina (Zachary) Zoerhof, Jared Hofstra; step-grandchildren Benjamin Mol, Jamie (Michael) Noorman, Kelly (Benjamin) Noordermeer, Kristin Mol, Whitney Mol, Harmony Campbell; nine great-grandchildren; several brother and sister-in-laws from the Faasse, Mensch, and Korhorn families; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4 - 8pm, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St, Byron Center. Funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, July 5, 2013 at Cook Chapel at Byron Center with Rev. Tom Groelsema officiating. Private committal service will be at Boynton Cemetery. In honor of Sanford, contributions may be made to Byron Center Christian School or Pine Rest Patient Assistance Fund.
